Chelsea Management Company has worked with, and for, Asian investment professionals since 2010.  Our first venture was with AssetPlus of Seoul as we jointly managed a China-focused fund for North American investors.

In 2017, Chelsea became the subadvisor for Korea Investment & Securities’ “4th Industrial Revolution WRAP” product comprised of North American technology related shares. Subsequently, Chelsea has acted as sub-advisor to several other Korean investment advisory and brokerage firms seeking North American equity expertise for their domestic clients.

Chip Baik (Korean name: Woonsang Baik), formerly CEO of AssetPlus USA, leads Chelsea’s Asian business efforts as Head Institutional Representative of Asia. Mr. Baik has thirty-two years’ experience in the securities industry.  After 18 years of experience in the Korean securities industry, including as a fund manager and in brokerage, he has spent the last fourteen years working within the U.S. financial industry.

그후 한국내 대형증권사인 한국투자증권과 2017년 7월 ”4차 산업혁명 WRAP” 상품을 출시 최초 한국계 증권사 상품에 자문을 시작했으며 이 경험을 바탕으로 Chelsea투자자문은 한국내 고객을 위해 북미 주식 전문 지식을 추구하는 다른 여러 한국 투자 자문 및 중개 회사들의 자문 역할을 수행했습니다. 그리고 최근에는 한국내 기관투자자들의 미국 증시에 투자도 자문을 하는 등 활발한 비지니스를 진행 하고 있습니다.

전 AssetPlus USA의 CEO인 Chip Baik(한국명: Woonsang Baik)는 Head Institutional Representative of Asia로서 Chelsea의 아시아 비즈니스 활동을 이끌고 있습니다. 백씨는 증권 업계에서 32년의 경력을 가지고 있습니다. 펀드매니저와 중개업을 포함하여 한국 증권 업계에서 18년의 경험을 쌓은 후 그는 지난 14년을 미국 금융 업계에서 일했습니다.
